(1) Mark 4:13-20 = Matt 13:18-23 = Luke 8:11-15

/4:13/ And he said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand all the parables? /4:14/ The sower sows the word. /4:15/ These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. /4:16/ And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: when they hear the word, they immediately receive it with joy. /4:17/ But they have no root, and endure only for a while; then, when trouble or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. /4:18/ And others are those sown among the thorns: these are the ones who hear the word, /4:19/ but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it yields nothing. /4:20/ And these are the ones sown on the good soil: they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty and sixty and a hundredfold."

= Matt 13:18-23
/13:18/ "Hear then the parable of the sower. /13:19/ When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in the heart; this is what was sown on the path. /13:20/ As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; /13:21/ yet such a person has no root, but endures only for a while, and when trouble or persecution arises on account of the word, that person immediately falls away. /13:22/ As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing. /13:23/ But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty."

= Luke 8:11-15
/8:11/ "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. /8:12/ The ones on the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. /8:13/ The ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe only for a while and in a time of testing fall away. /8:14/ As for what fell among the thorns, these are the ones who hear; but as they go on their way, they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. /8:15/ But as for that in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance.
