Texts

(1) ApJas 7:7 [=SecJas 7:6-8]

/7:6/ For he knows about desire, as well as what the flesh needs: does it not long for the soul? /7/ For without the soul the body does not sin, just as the soul is not saved without the spirit. But if the soul could be saved from evil, and the spirit were also saved, then the body would become sinless. For the spirit is what animates the soul, but the body is what kills it---in other words, it is the soul which kills itself. /8/ I swear to you, he will never forgive the sin of the soul, nor the guilt of the flesh; for none of those who have worn the flesh will be saved.
